Thank you so much for those of you have decided to dedicate yourselves to bringing the temple forward into the next phase of growth. It promises to take a lot of work, and it also promises to be so very worth all the efforts.
The members attending the meeting discussed the following topics:
Definition of "Founder" and an outline of what that position embraces.
The means of communication between the Founders to include electronic medium.
A discussion of 501(c)(3) vs a non-profit status
The invitation to join an already established entity..pros and cons
Fund raising ideas to finance the 501(c)(3) option
Volunteers to head up tasks to prepare for the next founders meeting
Organizational structure of the temple
Designing a seal/patch for COTES to be printed on t-shirts, formal documents and certificates, patches,etc

A couple of important notes:
Founders meetings are open. This means that you may attend the meetings and witness the process. Only the founders will be speaking at the meetings, however any member of COTES may have input into the items discussed by sending an e-mail (or submitting a written document in person) to this e-mail address. The items you discuss on your correspondance will be considered during the next founders meeting.
The reason for this format is to keep the meeting flowing and adhere to the planned agenda. COTES circles are always a place where any temple business can be discussed informally among ourselves, and I am always available during those gatherings or by e-mail if you have things to offer

Winter Drumming begins at Sundown at The Magick House. Before Drumming, at 5pm, will be Round table discussion.
The round table topic for November will be "Should rituals be secret?"
December and January's roundtable will be making ritual attire.
Start shopping for an oversized t-shirt or dress shirt of the fabric of your choice. It should be very big for you.
3 pieces of cord each measuring 2 yards. Walmart is a great place to get this.
a stick the length of your hand
a sharpie the color of your choice
crystals or stones you are attracted to
one piece of rope, cord, or strapping 9 yards long
When we are finished you will have ritual attire, a wand, runes for divination, and a portable circle.
This is the last Saturday of each month an hour before sundown, followed by drumming at sundown. Directions to The Magick House are posted on the web site!
