Recipe: Big Mac with Fries Party Sweets

‘Nilla Wafer cookies
Vanilla canned frosting
Green, yellow, red food coloring
Peppermint patty juniors
Honey
Sesame seeds
Potato sticks

Directions:

Color a little frosting red, some green, and some yellow. Flip the first ‘Nilla Wafer so the flat side is up. Put a little green frosting on the flat side, enough to make a peppermint patty Jr stick to the cookie and

squish out the sides a bit. Stick the peppermint patty to the cookie and then top it with a little yellow frosting on one side and a little red on the other side. Stick another ‘Nilla wafer, flat side to the peppermint patty Jr, on the top so the frosting squishes outside the edges a bit. . Use a basting brush and “paint” the top of the ‘Nilla Wafer with a thin coat of honey. Sprinkle lightly with sesame seeds (they will stick to the honey). Now you have a sweet “Big Mac”. The food coloring looks like lettuce, mustard, and ketchup!
For a garnish, put a few potato sticks on the side with some of the red frosting. This looks like your French fries with ketchup.
This gets a huge smile every time I make it for kids and adults. It actually tastes good if you have a major sweet tooth! I can’t remember where I got this idea, just that the basics were out of a magazine or newspaper when my girls were in scouts many many years ago.
